Jeong-Dae Kim is a registered patent attorney with expertise in Display, Computer-Controlled Machines, Mechanical Vibration, Power Plant Equipment, Vehicles, Precision Machinery, Battery Technologies including solar cell, secondary cell, fuel cell and separator, semiconductors, smart health care, Medical devices.

Mr. Kim is the co-founder of Hanbyol Patent & Law Firm and he practices a lot of patent trial cases including oppositions to grant of patent. Mr. Kim performs patent infringement and validity analysis for clients and provides counsel on how to avoid infringement of various patents. He also assists clients in formulating strategies and policies for generating a patent portfolio.

Prior to founding Hanbyol Patent & Law Firm, Mr. Kim worked for KBK Patent Law Office as managing attorney responsible for prosecution on behalf of LG Electronics handling communications such as portable devices, home electronics such as laundry machine, air conditioning, refrigeration, cooking appliances, cleaning machine, PDP, LCD.

Mr. Kim received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kyunghee University.
